ABOUT SCOTT HAAN
SCOTT HAAN has been involved in theatre for most of his life, first as an actor, then later as a director and writer. A Purdue University graduate majoring in Creative Writing, Scott's playwriting career began when Clinton County Civic Theatre (Frankfort, IN) debuted his first play, Insane With Power, in 2007. The following year, in 2008, two more of his plays premiered: Mind Over Matt at the Red Barn Summer Theatre (also in Frankfort, IN), and A Very Bad Day For Brandon Butterworth at Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette (Lafayette, IN). Since then his 30+ published plays have been performed by over 1,600+ schools and theatre groups in all 50 states, plus Australia, England, Canada, South Africa, Germany, Japan, India, and even Beirut. Scott and his wonderful wife Rhonda both work for Purdue University's College of Agriculture in Indiana, and they have two amazing children, Xander and Susan.
Scott is grateful to have live theatre as such an important part of his life, and wants to express his sincere appreciation for the support he has received along the way. For anybody who has helped bring one of his silly little shows to life, or enjoyed one from the audience, THANK YOU!
